Clear service boundaries
Terms of Service
Effective and last reviewed: September 27, 2026
By using CyberCare Network, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site or submit information through its tools.
The public service
The public site offers a no-account scam checker, a browser-only password-strength checker, practical guides, official-resource links, a weekly email, and a contact form. Features may change, pause, or be rate-limited to protect reliability and prevent abuse.
No guarantee or authentication
Scam analysis can be incomplete or wrong. A high-risk result does not prove fraud, and a low-risk result does not prove safety. CyberCare cannot verify a sender's identity, caller ID, website ownership, transaction, voice, image, or claim, and cannot monitor or protect accounts in real time.
- Independently contact the organization through its official app, statement, card, or a web address you type yourself.
- Contact financial institutions and official agencies directly after suspected loss or identity theft.
- Call 911 for immediate danger.
Your responsibilities
- Use the service only for lawful, legitimate safety and educational purposes.
- Do not submit passwords, verification codes, full financial credentials, unlawful content, malware, or private information you do not have authority to share.
- Do not attempt to bypass rate limits, probe protected systems, disrupt the service, impersonate another person, or use results to harass, defame, or make automated high-impact decisions about others.
- Keep your own devices and accounts secure and review the privacy notice before submitting content.
Public submissions and AI processing
Text and screenshots submitted for a public scam check are processed to answer the request and are not saved by CyberCare as a scan record. They are transmitted to the configured AI provider. Do not submit content you are not comfortable having processed for that purpose. See the Privacy Policy for details.
Official and third-party resources
Links to government agencies, banks, platforms, or other resources are provided for convenience and verification. CyberCare does not control those services, endorse every page they publish, or guarantee their availability. Verify the domain before entering information. CyberCare is not affiliated with or endorsed by the FTC, FBI, CISA, CFPB, DOJ, or other public agency unless expressly stated.
Content, corrections, and availability
CyberCare owns its original site design and educational content, subject to third-party rights and public-source material. You may link to public pages and use brief excerpts with attribution. Guidance is reviewed periodically but may become outdated as scams, products, and official procedures change. Request a correction through the Contact page.
- Do not reproduce the site as a competing or deceptive service.
- Do not imply CyberCare approval, certification, partnership, or government affiliation without written authorization.
Disclaimer and limitation
The site is provided on an ‘as available’ basis to the extent permitted by law. CyberCare does not promise uninterrupted access, particular search rankings, successful recovery, prevention of loss, or the accuracy of every AI output. To the extent permitted by applicable law, CyberCare is not liable for decisions, losses, or damages arising from reliance on educational content, third-party services, or misuse of the site. Rights that cannot legally be waived remain unaffected.
Suspension, changes, and contact
We may block abusive access, suspend authorized accounts that violate these terms, and update the service or these terms. Material changes will be reflected by the review date. Questions can be sent to contact@cybercarenetwork.org.
