Privacy Policy

Effective and last reviewed: September 27, 2026

This policy explains what CyberCare Network handles when you use the public website, scam checker, weekly email, contact form, or authorized staff tools.

The short version

  • Public scam checks do not create a CyberCare account, scan history, or saved submission record.
  • Text and screenshots are sent to our configured AI provider only to produce the check you request.
  • The password-strength checker runs only in your browser; the password is not sent to CyberCare.
  • We do not sell personal information or use public scam submissions for advertising.

Public scam checks and screenshots

When you request a scam check, the text, optional context, and any screenshot you choose are transmitted securely through CyberCare's server to the configured AI provider for that analysis. CyberCare validates the request but does not save the submitted text or image in its database, file storage, scan history, or analytics.

  • Screenshots are resized and compressed in your browser before transmission.
  • Remove passwords, one-time codes, Social Security numbers, full account numbers, and other unnecessary private details before submitting.
  • A one-way browser identifier and timestamps are used to enforce a temporary five-checks-per-ten-minutes abuse limit. The raw browser token is not stored in that rate-limit record.

Password-strength checker

The password-strength checker evaluates the characters in your browser. The password is not sent to CyberCare, our server, the AI provider, analytics, or another outside service. Do not test a real password on a shared or untrusted device.

Information you choose to provide

  • Newsletter: email address, subscription status, and delivery-related records needed to send or stop the weekly email.
  • Contact form: contact name, email, organization, inquiry type, message, reference number, and operational records needed to respond and prevent duplicate or abusive submissions.
  • Authorized staff: authentication identifiers, role and invitation records, and administrative audit records needed to operate the protected back office.

Basic website and security data

The site and its hosting or analytics services may process basic technical information such as page requests, approximate device or browser details, error information, security events, and aggregate usage. This supports website reliability, abuse prevention, and understanding which public resources are useful. CyberCare does not place public scam text or screenshot contents into analytics.

Service providers and disclosures

CyberCare uses service providers for website hosting, databases, AI analysis, email delivery, authentication, file delivery, and analytics. They process information only as needed to provide those functions under their own applicable terms and safeguards. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, or to investigate abuse. We do not sell personal information for money or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Retention and your choices

Public scam submissions are not retained by CyberCare. Other records are kept only as reasonably needed for the service, security, legal obligations, and legitimate operations. Newsletter subscribers can unsubscribe at any time. You may request access, correction, or deletion of information associated with you; available rights and exceptions depend on applicable law and our ability to verify the request.

Security, children, and changes

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no online service can promise absolute security. The public site provides general educational information and is not directed to children under 13. We may update this policy when the service or legal requirements change; the date above shows the latest review.
